Through art at Bowling Park Primary, children will develop a sense of pride, confidence and will be encouraged to express their ideas and thoughts about the world. Our curriculum is designed to give pupils every opportunity to develop their ability and nurture their talent. They will be inspired to experiment and produce their own original artworks where imagination and intellectual playfulness are encouraged. We believe that art can support children to find their place in the world by celebrating artists from Yorkshire, UK and beyond. We inspire our children to create, experience and participate in great arts and culture. Through analysing and reflecting on thought-provoking pieces of art, pupils will develop a concern for society and empathy for others. Our art curriculum has been designed to ensure that children can apply previously taught skills with confidence, persevere with difficult concepts, and develop resilience within new learning.
